I had that very same overbuilt/large power strip. Foolishly ordered it based on pictures alone. Got it here and found it was clearly too large for the constrained space it was bought to go into ... ended up selling it.

Everything matters in audio. Great upgrade ! Am sure you’ll find the sound now more laid back, and has a more relaxed presentation.

I almost bought that DDC a few weeks ago. How are you liking it?

They definitely made it cleaner, bigger, more layered, and more HiFi, like many other DDCs, but it also introduces the “house sound”… Plus the built in clock could be better.

I suppose, but I honestly don’t mind placing the chair close enough to the volume knob to stretch and reach it.
(Plus, most of my cables are about 6-7 feet long)
