I did notice that the bass seemed to be shifted a bit towards the left, yet midrange and treble on centred things (snare drum, vocals) were correctly placed dead centre.

How did they manage this?

Could it be a problem with the pad seal?

hot dang ... i just auditioned a pair of UE 9000 today and i thought the bass was shewed towards the RIGHT ear ... i had another UE 6000 at the side which didn't have any problems so it can't be my ears .. the sale person claim it could be a faulty driver since they had this demo unit for some time ..

anyone else have bass inbalance in their UE 9000 ? was about to ponk down my hard earned $$ for these babies but inbalance is a deal breaker for me.

None on mine.

Often times demo models get really, really abused over time.

Well...looked at my travel schedule for the next few quarters (and through the rest of 2013) and l'm not going to need noise cancelling headphones. It's with a heavy heart that I'm listing my UE9000s. Great headphones that sound amazing and bested many more expensive closed headphones I've owned in the past (I'm looking at you Ed. 8s).

Um.... guys.......nice to meet all of you.......

well, I've got a really good question that I wanted to ask from you all, that is which headphones do you like by comparing these?? @@

1) Parrot Zik ( heard that if you would adjust the equalizer from the app, these will sound a lot better)

2) Sony MDR-1RBT

3) Logitech UE 9000

I would be glad if anyone can share some experiences as I would like to choose one of these

Thank You For Your Cooperation Guys!!!

Just plugged the ue9000 on a LYR, it is quite a treat...
very energetic on the highs, and packs a punch at the bottom end..good clarity.
this is on a wired basic can with no NC.
It hugs my head like a glove, v comfy.
hmmm...v good closed can for home listening.

I tried the UE6000s and 9000s and was thoroughly unimpressed with the noise cancelling. As Lorspeaker said, its non existent. I'd prefer they dropped the price by $50 or whatever and removed it. The amp circuitry is fine, but just keep it passively isolated.

Just bought the 6000's. Doing "burn in" right now but I'm loving what I'm hearing so far. Not too bassy and overall a very fun headphone.... So far. And they are absolutely beautiful.

BTW, I'm sort of new here but does everyone buy headphones like these often? That's expensive. Worst, I'm a student and I cant help myself from looking for new headphones everytime I'm at a mall. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
