Wow MoonYeol great impressions. We hear the ASG-2 similarly. From what I know about the CK100pro and UE900, I can say that I'd likely have the same small critiques.

If I may, I'd recommend the ER4S as an iem that you might find corrects some of the little issues you have with the three iems in your review. Like the CK100pro without the midbass warmth and treble peak. I only recommend it because from your impressions I think there's a strong chance you'd really appreciate the ER4S' strengths.

Again great review. Wonderful blend of subjectivity and objectivity, no easy feat.

ASG-2, CK100Pro and UE900 - A nice little dysfunctional family of three

Pure awesomeness.

Thanks, Simon. I've added it to the first post. I love the pictures too...I might let my camera stretch its legs tonight, since I don't have to study until Sunday.

Btw, if you like the G2, there's some truly exciting news coming up. I'd hold off on the FA-4E for just a couple more weeks to see how things develop.

Don't ever count Dale out; the man is always plotting. Can't wait til the cat's out of the bag :)

Eke, waiting impatiently, Dale is the guy who knows what we want.

Oh great... Dale is plotting again... Do I need to take out a loan now?

Moonyeol, I enjoy reading your comparisons...actually I would like to hear you compare more of anything. Reading your reviews is entertaining! To the point but also colorful and informative!

Yes, excellent read, thanks for spending the time and sharing your observations.

Thanks for all of your kind words, all of you, not just gnarl. Yeah maybe I'll get the ER4S. Maybe I've just been kind of scared to buy it. I mean, it's a 15(?) year old single BA that's unchanged and with all the development that's happening from the bottom to the very top of the price brackets I just felt like ER4S would've been surpassed some time ago. But even if it was, I think it would be nice to hear it just to know what people are talking about.

Oh crap. Probably a good thing to sell of some stuff then... Anything that can enhance the G2's weaknesses is good. While it's a fantastic iem with very capable hardware, for me, it's the tuning that's holding it back and I still don't really like using EQ's everyday. But I'll take your word on it and wait a bit. My ASG-2 are soon going up to Sweden, the user (since we're both in Sweden already... it's a really good and annoying name at the same time), since we share the impressions on the CK100Pro, maybe we will also share the ones on ASG-2. So hopefully there will be more impressions. Even if there are already a lot now.

According to some people I trust on the matter, the ER-4 hasn't aged a day. Go figure
