New update:

1. Inear Prophile 8 - The king of timbre and technicalities.
2. Campfire Andromeda - Amazingly tuned treble with grand soundstage
3. AKT8ie - Fun and smooth with pinpoint imagine.
4. Shure 846 Blue Filter - Toetapping in your face sound with world class subbass.
5. Custom Art Harmony 8.2 - Didn‘t have a good fit, might be higher on this list. Wide Soundstage with bright mids, subdued treble. Sounded very good with accoustic, soundtracks and vocal ballads.

Not even close. The oBravo Ra C-Cu will set you back $13,000 Cdn for one example.

Interesting! Haven't seen those in anyone's ranking.

I'm a beginner in audio game, had no idea there are $13k IEM out there. Learn something every day!

It's these

Thank you for pic, they do look very sexy.

Never seen them anywhere, and if course never had a chance to listen.

Coo coo is fitting name tho, reflects their $13k price perfectly.

So Far, rearranged including new and relistening to the previous.

1) Tralucent 1plus2.2 (open and spacious sound, good bass, mids, and treble though it can get a little "hot" for me. My current reference)

2 Tie) Noble X (good bass and nice soundstage, great with Spinfits) and Audio Technica CKR100iS (nice bass and decent treble extension, excellent with amplification maybe edging out the Noble X, highly underrepresented)

4) Fiio F9 Pro (very resolving, treble cutting, but works well with Comply tips)

5) Westone W4r (warm)

6) 64 Audio U4 (extended bass can get a little muddy)

7) 1More Triple (really good for less than $100)

1) Westone W60 - just fantastic to me and super comfortable with Spinfits

2) Massdrop Plus - crispy, in a good way. Not as enveloping as the W60’s, but great for <$300

3) Tralucent 1plus2.2

4) Noble X

5) Audio Technica CKR100iS - very good, nice bass impact with correct tips

6) Fiio F9 Pro

7) Westone W4r

8) 64 Audio u4

9) 1More Triple

100) Shure S846 - did not get it, tried several tips and just could not see what the fuss was about. But we all have different ears, so YMMV

Yep, I've got some very nice earphones but the westone w60 still gets used all the time. Easy listening...

Anyone compared the kaiser encore with the vegas ? i consider to buy the custom version the next few months. The comparison between both iem's would be quite interesting for me...

Some of the top ones I have owned, some a few years ago (broken now so haven't listened to some in a while, will point them out where applicable. Ranked "best" to "worst".

1) Sennheiser IE80 - a bit too bass heavy imo but so much fun to listen to
2) 1More Triple Driver - surprisingly great sounding, especially for the price
3) Monster Turbine Pro Copper (broken, first good ones I had so some nostalgia lol, but very good from what i remember)
4) Nuforce HEM4
5) Monster Miles Davis Trumpet (broken)
6) Nuforce Primo 8 - the treble can be a bit too piercing for my ear sometimes, not too forgiving
7) Sennheiser Momentum In Ear (broken, pleasing sound but probably the least reliable cable i have seen in earphones, had 2 of these and both broke at the same point)
8) Shure SE215
9) Philips Fidelio S2 (broken, good sound but very very uncomfortable imo)
10) Hifiman Re-400 (broken)
11) Nuforce EDC - Massdrop
12) Sennhesier CX300-II

Just ordered the UE 900s from Massdrop, so wonder how those will stack up (assuming I don't cancel my order, reading it sounds good but has some QC issues).
