IE8 and ER 4P are my favorites.
My ranking:
IE8 >= ER-4P > triple fi 10 > ATH CK 10 > FX500 >= Denon C710 > W3 > denon C700 > SE530 > UM3X > UE700 > SE310 >= SE210 >> apple earbuds haha

Not compared side by side, but it most probably go like this.
JH-13 Pro -> JH-7 Pro -> UM2 -> ER4(p) -> Bose In-Ear -> Apple In-Ear -> iBud -> The Plug

Here's how I would approximately rank the IEMs and earphones that I owned so far:

RE0 >= SE530 > ES3X > IE8 >= Triple.fi >= PK1 >= CM700 >= UM3X > W3 > Super.fi 3 >= SA6 > Super.fi 5 Pro > PK2 >= PK3 > Phonak PFE > CX300 > Marshmallow

1. UE triple.fi & ety er4p - BEST
2. Ety Er6i & IM616
3. UE super.fi 5pro
4. shure scl5
5. shure scl3, philips 9850
don't count low end dynamic iems like cx300, ck6w etc.

Well, I may be wrong of course, or maybe ES3X just needs better sources to shine, but when plugging both into what I have, I find RE0 more tonally balanced and equally, if not better detailed. RE0 may not reach as deep in the bass, but it has a more naturally sounding bass in my opinion, with more impact. ES3X sounds dry and a bit unnatural by comparison. Also, I find that ES3X really needs help to bring out dynamics in the music. With my Sony walkman, I had to turn the dynamic normalizer on to make them sound sufficiently dynamic for my tastes. RE0 sound more dynamic out of any source. As for SE530, I think it totally blows away ES3X in dynamics.

BTW, that's why I returned my ES3X a few days ago. Luckily, got most of my money back (~92%). Gotta update my sig.

sf3 seems rather high up the list there, beating the sf5 pro? was that intentional or a typo?

Nope, not a typo. I actually thinks Super.fi 3 is the better IEM than the Super.fi 5 Pro. It sounds more natural and balanced.
