Rank the IEM's you've heard

hey Carlsan
how was k10 vs k10u? how were they different?

Not sure if the difference is between the custom vs. universal or generational or both.
The K10U are from the first year or so of production (late 2015), the custom is from the following year.
The U has more mid bass and better lower end impact. The custom have less bass impact but feel more neutral and refined.
The U definitely has a more fun sound-stage, completely understand why it has been so popular (and remains popular to this day, given how they sell on Massdrop).

@Carlsan Thanks for the input!

I have the custom version and it does have more bass ooomph than andro and u10. K10, imo, has the depth and the range of totl. It is just that it feels slightly artificially achieved.

Still much better than ue11pro and es3, that i had. I lost them but i didnt miss them.

can anyone here do a Legend X vs Atlas.

I’m so confused, I love my Legend X’s but I keep on going back to my Atlas’s even though the X’s are better in almost every aspect except the soundstage and imaging i believe

Edit: Skullcandy ink’d wins in terms of portability and the way they stop working after a few days, is just super healthy and satisfying for your ears. Ever heard listen to the music and not the gear?

1) (Gonna leave this spot open still looking, but wanting to try VisionEars, Spiral 5, and ofc the U18)
2) Legend X
3) Campfire Atlas
4) Tia Fourte
5) KSE1200
7) Phantom/Zeus
8) Campfire Vega/Andromeda
9) ie800
10) ie80

Almost all music I listen to is Electronic/Ocassional Hip Hop

Don't you own them both already? Why are you asking someone to review the differences?

oops, I meant U18 vs LX tbh. U18 and VE8 are the only high IEMS I haven't heard

CB431AC4-0011-450E-9716-06CD915DD27B.jpeg To return to the thread I have had chance yesterday to listen for some hours a pair of jomo Flamenco. 1 week ago I have listened the Legend X for some hours too. The Legend X is a terrified basshead iem, big soundstage, good medium and treeble but with a very special tuning and perhaps not really all rounders. The Flamenco are not basshead IEMs but not technical IEMs instead. They have not the soundstage as big as the Legend but more precise and real. The flamenco are able to change their tuning on each different kind of music. They sound natural and real, with great and big dynamic. They are probably the best I have listened: better for me than U18 or Zeus XRA. I was thinking to get Legend X but I will go for Flamenco. More my cup of tea.

I have Zeus XRA, perhaps better bass without the adel module.

Beware...I think @NaiveSound 'loved' his XRA just as much as his current DX200

I have XR and had XRA on a loan. Zeus XR certainly has better bass / resolution, where XRA has the wider soundstage.

Btw, some nice / intriguing things you wrote on the Flamenco

Really?. In France we have a website, a small HF named tellement nomade. Sometime we make small meeting to exchange about our passion with others members . Like that we can listen in good condition lot of different DAP, Iems, câbles.....I have listened and sometime bought a lot of IEMs to try to find the best for me. About DAP I have stopped my search and I use the sp 1000 + Hugo 2 even when I travel.
About the Iems the best I have listened for the soundstage: the Lcdi4, for the bass the Legend X, medium: Fitear Togo 334, and treeble: probably the flamenco. In the flamenco I find a part of these but all in 1 pair. The synergy with the sp1000 and 8 brains of 1960 PWAudio cable is the best I have ever listened for the moment.

My mistake: PWAudio 8 brains or 1960 4 brains

The PWaudio 1960 is also my favourite match on the Zeus XR so far. But I have the 2-wire version. Can't afford (budget wise) and have never heard the ($2K) 4-wire myself.

Btw, you probably meant braids instead of brains.
But hey, what do I know...I hardly have a brain myself
