Is it true that they may sound noticebly worse after the replacement?
I am so depressed right now. They where amazing,

I've had Grado replace drivers + cable on a pair of Sr80's and most recently a pair of Gs1000i. The Sr80 definitely sounded better. The Gs1000i came back sounding the same which is AWESOME!

I wouldn't hesitate to send them in for a repair, a driver imbalance on the Ps1k would drive me crazy!

Oh, So this is what's called driver imbalance?
Do you think it may be the loud blast that caused it? Maybe it was there before and i didn't notice it? Anyway, I will send it to them and maybe ask them to replace to a similiar sounding drivers if it is possible. Any more comments about sending them to Grado would be highly appreciated. They still sound amazing, But the imbalance is killing me. It is louder by a small margin, But it still drives me nuts.

Actually i have some news-It might be the Concero causing this. Maybe this is the thing that was damaged from the blast of sound?
When i use the PS1000e connceted to the PC's soundcard it sound more centered. Does it make any sense?

Nope, I am afraid those are the headphones.
Maybe they can fix channel imbalance without driver replacement. I am almost sure that it is the blast of sound that caused this, Because i really didn't notice it before

Here's my latest addition to my PS1000. J Money headband for the win!

Nice, Grado should take notes.

I see that you rod blocks seem to be pretty tight.

yeah, so far so good.

I was actually thinking of changing the round rods for the old square ones like on my Rs1. Those things are very firm and don't move around at all, unless you want them to.

Ha! I'm glad I did it! I was being kinda stubborn not wanting to change anything about 'em and just keep 'em stock.
