..fear not...if a clumsy oaf like me can do it multiple times over, and learn how to solder, I am sure you are fine.

Is there a full video of the entire recabling process. I'm not really all that worried about soldering the cable to the headphones I just dont know how to prep the cable and install it and what goes where. Like if I used Mogami Starquad. Do you just use the normal microphone cable stuff and strip the wires out or what do you do?

Did someone mention Carbon Fibre?

We'll put a thread up very soon explaining our goals for this project, available Q4 2013.

All enquiries welcome (no developments with Turbulent X drivers, be the first!)

That's insane...LMAO...how do they sound, and what drivers do you have in them? Was that felt or damping of some sort I saw behind the grills?

they sound 'better' than the originals, that was one of our design goals - without that box ticked there's no point right?
The HP-A is based on the Alessandro MS1i. The raw/donor drivers are liberated, tested, modified and retested prior to rehousing. To date we have not liberated any GS or RS drivers but have completed upgrade packages for all of the SR and PS range of drivers.
Not felt but a dual density foam membrane, good for air transients bad for frequency transients.
