Whats the MH1 tape mod?
I would like to suggest the Jaycars Digitech pro monitors. Direct clones of highly rated Brainwav HM5 and Fischer Audio FA003. These are favourably compared with higher priced headphones and are greatly priced already. But the Jaycars are even cheaper. At 50u$ its more than 50% cheaper.
Just a warning...they are big and sound balanced and neutral. A bit to neutral and balanced in my ears. Lack bass for me. So not for everybody. But they are still awesome buys.And with so many clones...there are a lot of mods available.
