It seems to be some kind of HOK variant. different earpads
, possibly different style.

It is boxed and from Germany.
Im guessing as long as no one sees it it will be about $30-40 .
If your interested in bidding and sorting out payment yourself, send me an e-mail NOT pm.

(btw Wuala's friend found this, I am only posting the details here, because I would like to see someone here buy it, and report on it, with picures hopefully, so we can confirm good quality details for wikiphonia).

In case some one is looking at that, I'd like to say I doubt it's an ortho. But I won't mind if someone proves that I am wrong :)

EDIT: Uploading pics to Photobucket... And taking pics of the T10s, T20v1s, and the KH-83 gave me an idea that I'm looking forward to trying.

The Denon pads can probably be stretched over the T20v1 bezels for a really tight seal, but two-sided tape would also work just fine with a minty fresh pair. Those are my mules so they've been stretched and prodded a lot...

So looking closely at the T10s and the KH-83s, the back cups are a little bigger and there is more potential vent area. Therefore, I am going to do a little internal surgery to the KH-83s. I'm also going to try the T20v1 bezels with the Denon pads and T10 drivers in the KH-83. Wish me luck! I think it will be pretty damn sweet!

Yeah , they are worth it and I feel very fortunate to own a pair. Their worth? If you can get them cheap all the better but I wouldn't balk at paying a fair ortho street price for them - $50 - $100

Stock the headphones sound very good, I did end up moddifying the damping and this was more to bring out some extra bass response. You may get more bass by playing with the pads. The headphones themselves are similar to the wharfedale ID2 , the stock foam damping pad is actually in 2 parts which makes modding them a little easier than the ID2. If you do buy them, ask before opening them as there is a trick to opening up the baffles without damaging the connectors. It has probably been described already if you use the search tool.

rough pages for info - scan 3 or so forward for most of the info

nice collection of orthos boilermakerfan.

Thanks man, you guys can duke it out for the Leak. I prefer orthos with a little more style.

I almost dragged out all the T10s and T20s, but I have 3 torn down in various states and one is AWOL.

Realized all I need now is a T30 and I'll have all the v1s from T10 to T50 if I count my NAD as the T50v1.

Thanks, now imagine them with the T20v1 front bezels and Denon pads with a custom cable.

Or you can just wait until Sunday and see the actual pics.

EDIT: Maybe I'll go crazy and use my deep brown J$ V3 headband and O2 pads...

As You can see the original pads are pretty flat - as in the most orthos.

How do the Denon pads sound?

Looks can be deceiving. The ear openings for the Denon pads, both J$ and stock are a little small. The T20v1 headband's flexibility and size make it easier to position them correctly for maximum comfort though.

I haven't measured them exactly, but they mounting diameter is a little under 100mm. Maybe closer to Beyer pads than AKG K240 or Stax O2s.

A good T20 pad is remarkably comfortable and the dished bezel helps considerably.

I've only done preliminary auditions, but they improve the bass and treble enough to pursue further development. If they didn't sound good, I wouldn't have posted pics with them.
