Wicked. Unbelievable. Astonishing. Kenwood/Trio at its best.

These are VICTOR Orthodynamic D30-D90 headphone.
This is OTTO/SANYO E-1000 &E-11
At least I know why i could not buy any of these in the past 15 years in any auctions of the world.
My first shot at replacement pads for YH-2 are these Geekrias. Geekria ear hole little smaller and foam tad less compliant. Next!

Just to let you know, master1s, I am still shocked. I own about a good 150 vintage cans, many orthos, but I am just shocked. Can't stop investigating those pics from you pixel by pixel. Yours is a one and only collection in the world. With all the paperwork...ahh. I wish I could read Japanese. Nonetheless, two questions for you: 1.) Do kh85 sound any similar to t30? They are supposed to do so... 2.) That d35. It is somehow different from the others in the dynaflat line. It is a Victor, but almost a Peerless PMB design. Like, lets say, dk830. And not even mentioned in the standard victor paperwork you shared with us. If you happen to have a leaflet in the box with the d35, could you, please, share it with us? Thanks.

Love the collection. You managed to snag things I couldn't in all these years ! bravo. This is OTTO/SANYO E-1000 &E-11
Can you tell us (or show us) what driver the Otto E-1000 has please?
Also to answer the question a few days ago on the Victor line-up, the D50/70/90 are all very different. They have different drivers. Master1S kindly posted some photos which illustrate this if you look closer. The D90 has a unique driver that isn't in any other OEM, and it sounds different. This actually leads me to believe that Victor is the original maker of these style of ortho drivers (the Akai's etc), as an extension of their Dynaflat speaker business.

I would be almost sure it is not related to PMB or their cousins. The D35 is the next gen from the D30/50, it would likely have a similar 'Akai' style driver. Possible single ended. whether it is a recycled driver, or a evolved design is the question.2.) That d35. It is somehow different from the others in the dynaflat line. I think the sound of the D35 is very similar to D30,Their unit is also 50mm,So I think they are grouped together
The D50 and D70,I'll put them together,D70 was upgraded on the headphone case
The D50 and D70,I'll put them together,D70 was upgraded on the headphone case
The Otto E-1000 is Orthodynamic,I don't know which earphone it's OEM,I'll upload its brochure tomorrow,I don't like to take headphones apart,Unless it's broken
the KH-85 is sound very nice,I think it's better than T30,Of course,I think the KH-92 is the best of the all OrthodynamicJust to let you know, master1s, I am still shocked. headphones. Its headphone unit size have 77.3mm,The KH-85 unit size have 70mm,They are very rare,I've been looking for it for ten years, too
Was just asking because i was once in this very topic taught that kh85 is a rebranded t30 in terms of the driver.
