Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Still enjoying the everliving heck out of my custom Encores! Yes, the Katana has them ever so slightly beat on ultimate clarity and soundstage, but the Encores just sound so... so right to me! The music just flows and you find yourself getting lost in it and just bobbing your head with a big dumb grin on your face.

I confirmed my details with Sunny and she shipped it out Tuesday early morning U.S time (Weds evening china time). A little over 48 hours later and its "out for delivery". That is some seriously fast shipping....almost amazon prime speed......i can only imagine what it costs...

My desk is right on the other side of that wall. I think Noble rolls the same way...

Can anyone give a comparison between the etymotic er4sr and the noble sage? Ive been looking for something more euphoric but no slouch on detail and neutralish sound signarure.

At the risk of sounding biased
If u like the er4 ur going to love the sage
I say this because the er4 and the sage share a lot of DNA

That being said, I do hope their are others that can supply u with a more concise answer to your query

Hi All,

Just received my Noble Dulce Bass UIEM's. First impressions are pretty great. Aesthetically, I think they're well made and look really good. The Dulce's are maybe my favorite color of the bunch. Though, it would have been pretty 'sweet' if they came in a delicious orange color. You know, orange is the color of hunger. Maybe Dulce v. 2?

Anyway, I bought them without an audition (which is always fun) and it took me a bit to calibrate to the signature v. my Fostex TH-900's. I'm liking what I hear though... These are not bass monsters (I wasn't expecting a BA based IEM to be) but they do favor the lower end of the spectrum. Actually, from memory (which is always faulty), the Dulce's sound similarly voiced to the Shure 1540's I owned once upon a time and recordings made with ribbon mics (also mentioned in the 1540 thread). Sweet is a good way of describing them.

I also find they work well with many genre's of music despite carrying a 'bass' moniker. For my first foray into Noble's offerings, I'm entirely satisfied. More to come as I spend some time with them.

Cheers,

Jamie

Without audition? How audacious! (excuse the pun)

I auditioned the Noble line up to the Dulce Bass a couple of weeks ago and the Dulce were my favourites. I only had a few minutes per set, but like you said, the Dulce Bass are really quite versatile. I did the auditioning with a selection of music including Madam Butterfly and Haydn piano concertos and they sounded lovely. I was very close to buying them when I tried the Custom Art Ei.3 and knew I had found the right option for me. Both the Sage and Dulce Bass have stuck in my head however. Very, very nice!
