Thank u for your generosity and it would be a privilege to give an objective review for this new IEM. I have used a few Fiio amps in the past and find they provide great performance/value for their price, I'm still using the Fiio A3 amp daily in fact. The FR for this IEM looks very good, I'm interested to see how this IEM turns out!
The EA3's FR is quite nice, doesn't look like any harsh peaks/valleys:
I have the BLON BL-03, and it's a single DD that is tuned somewhat harmanish with a midbass bump, which some folks in the BLON thread didn't like. I think the EA3 will not be as bassy, though both sets will not be fatiguing in the treble. Just based on specs, i think the Jade EA3 will also be easier to drive compared to BLON.
JADE Audio EA3 should also have better technicalities in view of the added BA Knowles driver (with DD), so it will probably have better instrument separation, clarity, details than the BLON. The BLON has good timbre/tonality but it is not too good in the technicalities area compared to multi BA/hybrid IEMs (like the Jade EA3 and TRN V90). Though of course we cannot tell some stuff from graphs like details, timbre, soundstage.
But at 39 bucks, it's not common for CHIFI companies to use knowles drivers at this price point, and the FR of the Jade EA3 looks very well tuned IMHO. A lot of CHIFI like to overly boost the 2 - 4 kHz area to give a "fake" sense of more perceived details, but the Jade EA3's graph isn't overly boosted at this area, so it probably won't be fatiguing for longer listening sessions. (Though we do need a bit of boost at this 2 - 4 kHz area as sound bypasses the external ear structure in IEMs, so this area needs to be slightly boosted to compensate in these frequencies when using IEMs).
