Now you're talking. The link doesn't open though. Disregard 8n that's b/s, but when they say single cristal copper they meant high purity copper and if they mentioned litz that's even better.
I have experience with such cable look at attached pictures, I did them myself. The first one is 8 core high purity Lits wire, the true purity is unknown, my guesstimate it's 5n. The cotton mesh is the parachute cord shell- good stuff. There is no static noise, good flexibility and tough for abuse. It is used mostly to protect the poor quality isolation on litz wire from getting stiff and later cracks.
On the second picture compare its size with jvc true 6n cable, which was with 3.5mm jack and I cut it short and solder a 2.5mm jack.
You see the difference in thickness, but they sound almost identical, I still prefer the thick one just by a smidgen is better sound wise and it's hard to believe but the thick one is in fact more flexible than jvc, much bulkier and uncomfortable for me though.
I got a good deal on that crazy priced AKG 2.5mm and already it's coming from Canada, later I will compare them and let you know how it compare to others. Also, I'm thinking about 800st. They are now so good priced on ebay I just must have at least one 16mm iem, I doubt though my es100 will push them hard enough with 300mw.

Hi, thanx for your input again. It feels real, not like when watching some reviews LOL

As per my previous post, the link opens from my laptop, but I also edited and added exact search words so you can use SEARCH and find it on ALI, if still needed.

Re. EX800ST, I was struggling with eartips and that they would stay in my ears when skateboarding, but since I bought these (just bought largest ones) for 3 EUR ...

... I have no more fit/sound/fallout/ issues. The most cool thing is that they vibrate with subbass through the sides of your ear-canal. I tried Comply 500, Spinfit 240 ... all pretty useless when sporting. Now, I have absolutely no fit/isolation issues with 800ST compared to any other IEMs I have (KZ AS16, JadeAudio(FiiO) EA3), only the bass shakes my internals much more and resonates much deeper.

Regarding power, I had them with Topping NX4 DSD, but the thing was boomy on bass boost no matter the EQ.

Now I use Monolith THX portable (very clinical sound) and can't even imagine going with anything else for a long time. Monolith is supposed to supply 16 Ohm 220mW and 32 Ohm 340mW. I am at about 80% volume max.

800ST are 16 Ohm, I dropped EQ and amp on Hiby app. on my mobile all to -12 dB, and only raised 32Hz to 'no puke' level of +6. Software volume is 100% from my phone. This eliminated the need for more power. I only listen to 320Kbps MP3 mostly so no big deal.

I also think that max. 500 mW in the specs of 800ST is more of a safety value, so they will not burn LOL

O.k. I searched for that cable, the page in Chinese and google translate doesn't work on it but the cable and the store looks legit. I've looked through their store and it seams like they are in some serious cable busyness. That cable might sound the best you can buy on ali but boy it's bulky. I can't see myself caring around with me all the time one of those, leave along some sport activity.
I hate the hype to the core of my bones, it's trolling on o higher level and right next to it is the overly boomy bass (50-80htz) along with shrill highs of poor quality recorded songs which I happened to have in my library among others.
In my opinion, you better invest in more powerful amp first. In order for 800st to truly shine you need to push them like up to 800mw and a good eq. to rise up at 20-30hgz and take down 50-80hrz it has nothing to do with volume. You will be hearing better quality subbass on both low and on high volume. Under this conditions 800st were reviled as basshead iem. Cables can not do that. Sure, they can help to hear those frequencies better to tell them apart and the last one you linked looks great for that but you'll be totally fine with something like this 6n cable for one third of the price. At least everything there is clear and it looks right on their page.
Static noise can be avoided by wearing the cable under the shirt, not above. But the sun and cold will make in time this cable stiff, for sure if soldered connectors and jack stress release won't fail sooner.
As per tips, they have narrow bore which kill the mids and I like clear mids, too.

I looked again at the thick black cable and realised that there are no plastic wrapped earhooks, so definitely a no go in EX800ST. They need that support to stay in place no matter how deep I insert the 3-plugs. Plus, wearing hoodie and sport+sweat would make the cable pretty messy very fast in area going around ears.

Re. max. volume from my phone to Monolith I really meant that it is locked at max. in Hiby and I only use Monoprice THX volume knob. (the recommended stuff for not losing 2 bits LOL). Anyway, not important.

I get what you are saying re. 800mW power for EX800ST LOL. For me 1-40 Hz subbass is the only area which I want to get boosted (+18dB), compared to the rest all sitting in EQ at -12dB all this can be straight line no problem. This basically puts all power to be available for the lowest frequencies. I hope I understand this good. Anyway, it sounds good to me, pushing air and vibrates. Maybe you know this ... Free Hiby android player (my favourite) on my phone has also 'MSEB' which allows to fine tune most importantly bass extension and some more very 'music-coloring' stuff.

I already checked other DAC/AMPS but the only one with 1000mW (actually 4000mW for 16 Ohm) is 699 EUR (micro iDSD Signature) and it has also balanced, which I want want next for sure (the balanced LOL).

I will definitely look for someone to hook EX800ST to desk amp and see what more power can do to sound. See, as long as my ears go strong, 4000mW to be pushed suddently by a stupid mistake is a no go LOL

I will ask Bad man form Hawai Japan what his take is on pumping over 500mW, he always does not mind talking EX800ST. Also I must not forget that the tape mod
does this to bass.

Hey guys. Been a little while. How has the QA gotten with the Urbanfuns? I want to order them over this 11.11 sale on Linsoul but I remember QA being hit or miss and I'd like to know if they've been improved. Thanks all.

Edit: They're only 56 bucks on Linsoul and it was between those and the TFZ No.3's....

Nope, but it looks good on paper

I just bought this (finally, was choosing from 25 cables) 5 minutes ago for 35 EUR (from another site than the link below, called 'Sounds mate'):
Ali 11/11 sale would save me an extra '1' EURO discount, so ... I did not bother.

Tech:
Ohno Continuous Casting (OCC), purity 99.9999%,
(built-in 4 core, a total of 96 copper wire diameter 0.05mm)
Length: 120cm

It looks good to me (poisonous snake), super price, has L shaped 3.5mm (def. need it), ear hooks (def. need it with EX800ST), it is good quality 6N and I do not need a 2-pin adapter (no need to spend an extra +35 EUR).

THX for all your input, really appreciated. Will let you know how it sounds, Cheers _\|/_

I think it’s better overall, but still not great. I really like the sound of the UFs, much more than the No.3s.
