Now you're talking. The link doesn't open though. Disregard 8n that's b/s, but when they say single cristal copper they meant high purity copper and if they mentioned litz that's even better.
I have experience with such cable look at attached pictures, I did them myself. The first one is 8 core high purity Lits wire, the true purity is unknown, my guesstimate it's 5n. The cotton mesh is the parachute cord shell- good stuff. There is no static noise, good flexibility and tough for abuse. It is used mostly to protect the poor quality isolation on litz wire from getting stiff and later cracks.
On the second picture compare its size with jvc true 6n cable, which was with 3.5mm jack and I cut it short and solder a 2.5mm jack.
You see the difference in thickness, but they sound almost identical, I still prefer the thick one just by a smidgen is better sound wise and it's hard to believe but the thick one is in fact more flexible than jvc, much bulkier and uncomfortable for me though.
I got a good deal on that crazy priced AKG 2.5mm and already it's coming from Canada, later I will compare them and let you know how it compare to others. Also, I'm thinking about 800st. They are now so good priced on ebay I just must have at least one 16mm iem, I doubt though my es100 will push them hard enough with 300mw.
