Thanks for the comments - I was consciously trying to avoid use of buzzwords as I'm still pretty new to the hobby, so trying to keep things simple as possible (and avoid embarrassing myself in the process!). Will be looking to get my hands on some of the other Aurisonics 'phones I haven't heard yet by trade on the forums here or discount sales in due course so would like to put a few more reviews up as and when I can - the feedback is very much appreciated.

He also replied back to me. Yo when you get them back put glasses on and gently turn the screw slowly.

The above is a pic showing the bass port is 20% open.

Above is 40% open.

Above is Closed.

I suggest using a torch when possible adjusting the bass dials, at least I do. Sit it next to the IEM, shine it in from an angle leaving two hands free to hold the housing. Let's me get a precise adjustment as well.

The white marks on both of my pairs were never any good. I just make sure not to turn them very hard in case I forget. Then again I left mine at half open and haven't touched them since. Too much work to adjust per song or even per album so I just found a good spot for many recordings.

Do you really? Makes me feel not so crazy, plus my ASG-2 the white mark on the dials has faded. My Aurisonics will be back tomorrow. :D

Back in the saddle! Yeeee haaar!
I do! Under a bright light.

I have one at 20% open, another 35ish open and the other half open. I heard if one closes the bass port the 2.5 becomes very close to NEUTRAL but the bass will hit mostly only in the sub regions.
