It is a bargain- I have it myself, it's got a lovely delicate, neutral sound with dead silent background. Using it with HD650s..
Lucky you. If I didnt have the similary heavily discounted Myrya Z40 I would buy one in a shot.

Do you use yours in conjunction with Mojo?

I loved the Mojo with my Focal Spirit Classic (I see you have the Spiri Pro) but I imagine the Arcam would be better with the HD650 (I have the HD600)?

I sold the Mojo as I thought it was overrated - Dragonfly Red comes very close for a fraction of the price. However i'm using Arcam AirDac with the rHead, it gives a touch of smoothness that's required with the HD650 if not using a tube amp (and it's nice to have an all Arcam setup)

Very good deal on these. Although going on feedback it looks like Polar were selling them in the same condition a month or two back for £299 which is mad really!!

At £400 I probably have too many reservations to buy a pair blind (can't audition locally) but if the price drops again it'd be almost rude not to...suspect that horse may have well & truly bolted though

Are you sure they were the 2nd gen they were selling for £299... Think they were 1st gen ones which are no way near as good.

£399 for T5p 2nd gen is a steal, they are such good headphones, I love them but still can't afford them

When I saw £299 I assumed it must have been the 1st gen too so had to read through twice just to make sure. Was the 2nd gen and again seemed to be brand new stock with a damaged box.

Agree that £399 is still a steal though and if I didn't already have a couple of good closed backs in my collection I'd probably have bought them already!

I will likely take a punt and buy one if they are sold again for £299.

This guy (also on H-F) is not too keen on them, he discusses SQ starting at 5'

Edit: his video is for Gen 1

Looks like I slipped up. Sorry.
Easily done. A few of the 'flagships' from yesteryear are hard-to-believe value now especially AKG and Beyerdynamic

Some very cheap Cypher Labs in the UK at the moment.
