I have a J3 and a 64GB Sandisk card that works without problems.

I will be putting it on sale today if anyone is interested.

I may try the 64gb card if I run out of space...I wonder if anyone has successfully reformatted a 128gb card, or are those sdxc 4.0s that aren't compatible with the J3?

I may get one for mine, but I'll need someone to hold my hand while reformatting it I think - I'm not very tech-savvy. Good to know for sure....I'll wait until they come down in price a bit first.

if you get a 32gb card, make sure it's at least class 4...otherwise it's just a little too slow transferring files in my opinion and booting up as well.

maybe class 2 would be fine...i think mine is a class 1 or (none).  even my class 1 16gb is quite slow

Yeah I always buy class 4+.
Have you heard the J3 compared to X Series and A Series Sony?

Well of course I want the best sound and battery life is good too.
The Sony A Series is meant to have good Sound and so is the J3 so thats why I am finding it hard to choose.

My concern was the sound, EQ, power, size, battery life, and volume.

For battery life - J3 - for pure SQ A Series. Better clarity, separation and soundstage as well as no problems with channel-to-channel bleeding.

EQ is good on both, I see no reason to use it.
