    Shure se215 question

I recently bought a pair of these thanks to recommendations here. While the sound is really good I noticed that the sound will distort at times at around 75% volume when my old pair didnt. The thing is it doesnt always happen. Is it a defect or do I just need time to burn them in? Thank you.

Looking for replacement tips and cable for SE215

Just bought my second pair of SE215s and while I like the sound of these, the cable and tips have always been a problem for me. The cable is about half a meter too long for front pocket wear, thick and cumbersome, and the memory wire just keeps me from getting a good fit with them. As for the...

Started with the Shure se215, what now?

So my first purchase that led me into "audiophilism" was the Shure se215. I loved them and loved the base heavy, but otherwise transparent, sound and clarity of the mids and highs. Now my question is what should I reach for next that is still an IEM (they tend to have more accurate, clearer and...

Hi guys,   Once again I'm back looking for recommendations. I like SE215s in many ways but the sound quality just isn't good enough for me to use on a day-to-day basis, although they are fine for the gym which is what I was after at the time.   In terms of what I like about them; I like...

    Newbie IEM suggestion?

I'm looking to purchase a pair of IEM's, would like a recommendation. I bought a pair of Sennhesier CX500 a few years ago and didn't use them much; I didn't realize they were IEM's, what IEM's were, and that the CX500 sounded so much better than any headset or earbuds I'd had before. Of course...
