I used to have a Predator but I sold it and got a used Meier Cantate for just under 500 and it sounds much better than any portable solution I've heard. It also has crossfeed.

I had both a 4G iMod and a Predator and from my memory the Predator was a big jump over the iMod.

I tried both a balanced HD650 and HD600 with a B-52 and I remember the HD600 sounded a bit cleaner and more pleasant. The HD650 sounded a bit muddier and heavier.
