The DV 332 is reportedly sounds great with the headphones I own(DT 880, HD650) after some upgrades (tubes changed, silver IC)

I've had the WA3 and the DV332.

Of the two, I prefer the DV332 by a fair margin - though the WA3 is great with Senns. The DV332 is also better with low impedence phones than the WA3. And... the tubes for the DV332 are far less expensive. But... I use it only as a headphone amp.

Where does the story come from that the DV332 has a poor line out? I'm just interested as I haven't seen anything about that.

I stayed up all night a few days ago, reading the whole DV 332 thread. The sayings of poor quality tube sockets and that they weren't for Grados forced me to leave the DV 332 behind, and now I'm waiting for my dad to bring home the long-awaited package of a LD MK IV SE.

As far as I'm concerned the DV332 has a great selection of equivalent tubes, and at a very reasonable cost: EF95, M8100, CV4010, 5654, 6AK5W, 403A, 403B, to name a few.

Look no more - Darkvoice 336i or Little Dot MKIII. Both are wonderful with HD650s and tube rolling options are plentiful and cheap!
