I have had the triple.fi for over a year now and I havent bent the earloops since I set them when I first put them on.. It took me a little bit to get them right, but it was worth it. They use to fallout sometimes even after taking so long to set them, but the earloops I think have slowly bent...

Drive both earphones through an amp and a good home cd player and you will really see the difference in the 2 earphones. The Triple.fi is much much better in every aspect. The sf 5 is great though.. I wish I didnt lose them, though... oh well... atleast it wasnt my TF10s.

They probably have about the same amount of bass as the super.fi 5 pro or triple.fi, or perhaps somewhere in between. Super.fi maybe a little bit heavier in the bass response.

If you can get the super.fi 5 pro for $139 then by all means get it... its definitely worth it. I also have heard the ER4P can be had for $149 from a few places now. Those would be my choice if I were you even over the super.fi. Those two phone are definitely worth the extra 40 or 50 bucks. But...

This idea came across my head today. Do you think Etymotic will ever come out with another earphone(maybe a triple driver) better than the ER4 anytime soon?. I and many others here on head-fi I know love the Etymotic sound signature. And if something like this came out, would you buy it?

As much as I love headphones, I would have to choose speakers. The thing that I love about speakers is that speakers image so much better than headphones. With a good pair of speakers, it feels like the musicians are sometimes playing right infront of you in the room.

I have both the er4p and er6i and the 6i has much bigger triple flange sleeves than the er4p. The Er4p has small triple flange tips that are also more comfortable. You should try and get the er4 instead of the 6i. Its well worth the extra money.
