Ooh does this mean they are compatible with previous ER4 custom fits? If so this makes it a pretty easy Insta buy for....! I can’t stand universals anymore and the custom fits were such a good idea by Etymotic.

Just to add recently I’ve become obsessed with IU who is a korean popular soloist and actress (probably the most popular right now). Colour me shocked when i peered closely at a picture and thought I saw apex modules in her curiously unique customs... yep she’s rocking Audio 64s...

Yes my A12T have made me very happy, and etymotic ER4XR for public transport/ carry in my backpack. I still can’t get the Fourte sound out of my head though it really had some bass and treble quality... like oboes sound totally different on the fourte... too bad it doesn’t come in custom :)

Hi i auditioned both (in Australia the custom Khan is much more expensive than the custom A12T). Fwiw I felt the Khan was a more intimate upfront sound which i actually prefer, with less treble sparkle (which i do prefer, i was very specifically looking for an IEM that could reproduce both...

love the fourte... just hate the fact it’s universal! anyway my A12T was changed from the m20 to the m15 adel thingos.... much preferred!! sound stage opened up and that lovely high end like the fourte came back.. separation improved. could be psychosomatic but yes much prefer the m15s!

About 5 weeks? I’m in Australia so put a week of that as travel time for my impressions and shipping back.

just received my a12t and love it... i was finding back in black by ac/dc sounding very thin on everything i had, and i thought it was a bad recording... nah i just had poor gear... loving the a12t... a lot of money though :)

Wow. Tested the khan today and was amazed, I was shopping for an audio 64 A12T (which I ended up buying) but the khan and fourte are amazing. I really wanted the khan custom but it’s $1400 Aussie dollars more than the A12T..!

Wow are you saying this even compared to your andromeda’s? Or is it similar to my experience with the Bose and AirPods where the quality is good enough that I only use wired headphones and iems for home listening now.

i use customfit moulds. the drivers are set a little further away, however whatever audio changes i have not noticed or gotten used to over time... and the fact that i can slip in perfectly fitted moulds makes them worth every dollar... no pain, no squeezing it really is great.. it makes me...

Just FYI I couldn’t shake the issue that the silicones made the short nozzles keep feeling like the iems were falling out, the complys that come with them solved that quick, also benefited bass. So try the complys!
