As an international customer (I live in Brazil), here's is my 2 cents: USPS is usually a bit cheaper, but not by much. Also, via USPS sometimes packages slip by customs without fees being tacked on, while when shipped via couriers like UPS, DHL and the likes, customs fees are always charged.

Yeah, it's very annoying. That's why I use the ignore button very liberally.

I really like this idea! I can't justify a Vidar (way too costly to have it shipped to Brazil), and I'm having a hard time finding powered speakers that don't use class D amplification. (For now I'm using JBL LSR305s, but those are class D, and I don't feel to happy about that)

I’m running the same setup. Very pleased with it.

My Modi Multibit runs almost 10° hotter than yours (without anything on top of it). I wonder if it’s because of a higher ambient temperature (around 30°)

I don;t have any 192khz media, but for experimenting/ out of curiosity, I changed the midi setting on my Mac to 192, and Eitr-> Modi Multibit played my 44.1 files just fine.
