Yea i bought my k701 blind. after endless hours of reading reviews and opinions though, like motoxguy, i feel i got what i was looking for based off of them.

yea can someone please share some info. ive been dying to know what tyll has in store for us. only thing i ever saw anything about was some ultra micro dac. i also think i read somewhere that they might be offering a standalone home dac, i have no idea if though, they might be the same product.

it goes turntable-->phonostage-->amp-->phones/speakers. i know some of the old models have a phonostage and amplifier built in together, but mine at least has a loop out (unaffected by inner amplifier) which i can run to an external amplifier. i hope that answers your question. Mike

yea i agree. does anyone know if the k701s are manufactured by hand? cause if so then i can completely see the mistake of placing the wrong L and R's. but the combination of that along with the fishy serial number makes it hard to go against logic.

thanks im really praying that its just bad luck because if its only the L and R being reversed i could care less. im still waiting for a response from akg to help determine if its real.
