im surprised no one mentioned the darkvoice 336i... granted, i don't have the HD650s... so i can't say first hand how they'll sound. i paid $320 for mine shipped

any new news in how this compares against auzentech's line of soundcards? x-meridian/xplosion?

in regards to tube rolling, i have a few questions is it bad to touch the bulbs while their hot? bad to switch them while they're hot? How fragile are the tubes? p.s. i am a total newbie

all these inconclusive posts made by davisears is just smearing the darkvoice name either come up with a substantial post or don't say anything at all had i found this thread before i bought my DV, i would've been much more apprehensive about it. wooaudio 6 anyone?

just got my 336i in from jasmine chime on ebay as well, i must say A+ service! anyhow, i've read through this thread... it seems no one has tuberolled this amp with the k701s? What tubes would be best for these cans?

so, i just recently received a darkvoice 366i along with these grado sr60s. wow, im blown away by how resolving and how much detail there is. I can't stop listening to them! My akg 501s aren't even being used anymore, they just seem so boring and bland now. Granted, I am using the stock tubes...

how would the 701s stack up?

Wow. it's quite surprising to me how much an amp can change sound... pc - analog out - technics SA-AX610 - k701 pc - analog out - sansui 2000a - k701 it makes sense now, with that technics amp, my k701s sounded very bright and were quite tiring. The low end was next to...
