Wow.
it's quite surprising to me how much an amp can change sound...
pc - analog out
- technics SA-AX610 - k701
pc - analog out
- sansui 2000a - k701
it makes sense now, with that technics amp, my k701s sounded very bright and were quite tiring. The low end was next to non-existant apparently. I had wanted to buy a new amp but I couldn't hear much a difference between my 501s and the 701s on this amp... so i was reluctant to spend anymore on my setup.
anyhow, this sansui amp is awesome. I would say it sounds more "laid back" like the 650s vs the k701s i guess. Wow. My k701s are alive now!
Am I really hearing this much more stuff? Was this technics amp this bad? Or is this Sansui just coloring stuff much more?
