Is that a coming thought? To me the Qutest and chord products are resolving and offer great details however they’re anything but fatiguing.

Yeah I’m also looking forward to multiple armwands. I’ve got a growing mono collection and don’t yet have a mono cartridge. Buying a second VPI arm would cost me around $1300 and I just haven’t been able to bring myself to spring for it. I’d rather use that money on records!

Actually I pulled the ad and decided to hang onto the WA22, it’s just so pleasing to my ears. Sold some other gear instead to fund a new purchase. I have a set of tubes I’m really happy with and I guess I’m one of the lucky ones that only spent a few hundred to get there lol.

I really don’t think it detracts from any of the inherent qualities of the SE. I agree about the airy nature and what’s great about these headphones is they accomplish being both airy and having a rich textured sound at the same, never lacking that oomph when it’s called upon. I used the Milo/Qutest combo with my HEKse for a long time and it was end-game territory for me. I only moved on from Milo because I wanted to delve into the world of tubes. If I ever end up going back to solid state amps it would be hard not to go right back to a Milo.

+1 for both burn-in and especially upgrading the cable. I firmly believe at this price point they should come with a better cable, but they don’t. With an upgraded cable you’ll hear what these cans are truly capable of! You’re really not gonna hear them at anywhere near their best with the stock...

I’ve owned all three and IMO v2 was better than v1. Not night and day but significant enough that I was glad I upgraded. The HEKse is night and day better than both. i would argue that in general people considered the v2 an improvement over v1.
