Would you replace SCL4 with SE425, IE8, TF10, or some other good deal...?

I'm wondering the same. Sorry for the bump! (This was one of the top hits on Google)

    Do PXC-250s include batteries?

I bought my girlfriend a pair of PXC-250s for her birthday. They will be delivered a few days before her birthday. Do they include batteries? (2 AAA, I believe) I want to know if I need to buy some for her or not. Thanks!

    mx400 v. mx500

I like the blue. Every pair of earbuds I've had, before, has always been boring black. Anyway, the 500 is a couple bucks more than the 400, is sparkly blue, and has an inline volume slider. the 400 is black, slightly cheaper, andhas no slider. Frankly, the slider isnt' really all that...

iPod: Is there a newer version coming out?

There is no word on anything. Apple keeps things under wraps very well. Very rarely is anyone actually sure of what Apple will release until Apple announces it. Everything in this thread is rumor, only. Chances are that the next iPods will be what has been said, here. But no one has any...

Free SportaPro with Easy CD Creator 6 pre-order

http://www.roxio.com/adban/ecdc_6_mi...features.jhtml You can choose one of three free gifts: T-shirt, CD case, or Sporta Pro. Granted, the program costs $99... Still, $30 headphones thrown in for free, not too shabby. I thought it was interesting that they are giving away good...

    Ety-style accessory for earbuds?

You're right. They came, today (I like to try things for myself) and they do suck. I tried all the sizes, different positions, everything. The only good thing about them was they really amplified the bass from my MX500s. However, everything else sounded like it was coming from behind a pillow...

    Ety-style accessory for earbuds?

Hello, I remember some time ago somone posted about some earbud accessories that are used in leau of foamies. They resembled the earplug-style tip on the Etymotics and provided similar isolation. Does anyone knwo what I am talking about? I'd appreciate a link, if you do. Thanks!

    Aviation Headsets

While I'm not familiar with either of those brands, I have heard of Peltor so I would say that's the one to go with. I'm pretty sure you can get an adapter for that helo set. I believe that the only difference between helo and normal headseats is helo sets combine the mic and phone plugs...

    Aviation Headsets

What, exactly, do you want to know? If you mean for music, forget about it. They are not good for music. Their main goals are clear (not accurate) sound for voice and, if talking about general aviation headsets, very good isolation.

Count me among MX500 many fans

The two specs are the exact same... In the specs for the MX500, they have accidently switched the SPL and Freq. Response numbers. But other than that small formatting error, they are exactly the same.

    Ipod Buds vs. MX400

See here: http://www4.head-fi.org/forums/showt...threadid=20550 It is talking about the MX500, which are identical to the MX400 when it comes to sound. They differences are: MX500 is sparkly blue, 400 is black. 500 has inline volume control, 400 does not. 500 is $19, 400 is $14-15.

    MX500's compared to stock ipod's?

I think the MX500 are more comfortable. The iPod buds are not very ergonomic, more like a circle on a stick. I didn't like em.
