Is it that the one that goes up to 22,000 will play high notes too loudly and will hurt your ears more?

I was wondering if IE2 and MIE2 that I eventually accidentally broke that sounded better or if it was the iPhone 3G that I was using with those earphones that sounded better compared to the iPhone 4 that I used with MIE2i and SoundSport which I returned because it didn't sound good.

I really liked the sound of it, and was wondering if there is a cheaper alternative that sounds just as good.

Since you can't really know how they sound like until you use them, can you buy a whole bunch and test each one and return all but the ones you like?   Would this pose a problem? For example would Amazon close down your account?

Is Cowon really good as it is purported to be? I bought the D3 but considering returning it because it doesn't sound all that better than the iPhone 5 that I have. I compared them with my Bose headphone.

I've searched everywhere online but it seems like nobody is selling. Once I saw someone selling it as part of a computer set on craiglist but I missed that and so I can't buy it. Please, somebody owning one sell it to me for like 10-20?
