I feel like iPhone 3G sounds better.

I have fond memory of listening to music hours on end with a Bose IE2 earphone (this one: http://www.amazon.com/Bose-627476-0020-IE2-audio-headphones/dp/B003XU6H8I/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1419694511&sr=8-12&keywords=bose+earphone ) on the iPhone 3G and or iPhone4.

Later on when the IE2 broke I think I got MIE2 with one button that can receive phone calls or stop and start songs: http://www.amazon.com/Bose-MIE2-Mobile-Headset-Black/dp/B007WQ9LSC/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1419694511&sr=8-8&keywords=bose+earphone

Then that one broke too.
So I got the MIE2i later on but it didn't sound very good as I imagined and I returned it. Then I bought the SoundSport and again didn't like the sound so I returned it.

Also from what I remember the early Bose I had seemed like it was good at not leaking sound, the silicon gels didn't cause too much sweat in the ears and felt very nice both in its shape and feel. The bigger sized silicon also provided somewhat of natural sound isolation.

The SoundSport I had leaked sound bad.

I'm trying to get another earphone. Does anyone know if as I have experienced MIE2i and SoundSport doesn't sound as good as IE2 and MIE2 and the the sound leaks?
Does anyone have another recommendation that has as comfortable silicon and maybe even better sound?
