Matt Bellamy (Muse) or Thom Yorke (Radiohead) is/was a better singer? - Only Voice and vocal abilities
Jeff Buckley, since these two both raped his style impressively. -

Moving to Brooklyn
Williamsburg is where all the cool kids are. It helps if you're a bad dresser and don't comb your hair often though. I live right near the L and it's amazing.- nogrot

Juno - not overrated?
I thought some of the dialogue was almost too buzzword-filled, but what can you expect when it was written by an ex-stripper? Apparently, an Oscar nomination. I thought Ellen Page was perfect, but from small interview clips I've seen, she played herself. I also really like coming-of-age films...- nogrot

tonight (11/03) on SNL...brian williams?
I watched last night and found it fairly enjoyable. News Update always has at least a few lines that make me laugh, and a couple of the skits were fun. Brian Williams was decent I thought, most likely because he's used to being in front of a camera at least. A lot of the musicians they pick as...- nogrot

A great tip I discovered for ramen noodles
I boil the hell out of a pot of water, throw the noodles in and let enough water boil off to where there's not too much leftover. I prefer Pasta to be cooked al dente, not ramen. Then I add A1 Steak Sauce, Peter Luger's, a few hot sauces, and Tobasco. Lately, I've tried using cheap beer...- nogrot

Why does everyone like Dark Side of the Moon so much?
The album is for 15 year olds to obsess over, and then look back at in their later years to remember the good times. At least, that's what I do. -
Modest Mouse anyone?
Edit The Sad Parts > * My favorite album of theirs for many years has been The Lonesome Crowded West. -
Ken Burn's: "The War"
They've been playing this constantly for the past week on PBS 13 here in New York for the past week or so. I find the stills pretty amazing, but can't generally find the time to watch it for any extended period.- nogrot

Good NC-17 movies.
I thought Mysterious Skin was amazing, but I like the later Araki stuff. It certainly isn't for every occasion or everyone. I definitely liked it more than Palindromes though, which was a bit stronger experience I think. Both movies came out the same year, and deal with similar subject...- nogrot

I'm still wearing my Dry Selvage Nudies, Regular Ralfs, and haven't washed them yet. I don't wear them every day, so I've extended past the six month rule. The Sopranos Ending
I suppose I'll just have to disagree. I don't feel that the show was ever a truly amazing show with well thought out subtexts and symbols. I feel that it was an attempt at that, but 90% of the bulk of the episodes totally failed at that overall feeling and depth. I also disagree that it's the...- nogrot

Feamle artists as good as Tori Amos,Regina Spektor and Fiona Apple?
Ahh, somebody already beat me to Sarah Slean. A favorite of my lately is Katie Melua, though she plays guitar instead of piano. She is ultra-hot though, and an amazing voice. Another favorite of mine is Nina Simone.
