Ahh, somebody already beat me to Sarah Slean.

A favorite of my lately is Katie Melua, though she plays guitar instead of piano. She is ultra-hot though, and an amazing voice. Another favorite of mine is Nina Simone.

Definitely check out Rachael Yamagata, who has a somewhat scratchy voice and is often compared to Sarah McLachlan--she did a really good cover of "I Wish You Love", I might add.

There's Susie Suh, which has also drawn similarities to McLachlan.

Bic Runga is definitely worth checking out.

So is Vienna Teng.

I've been listening to her new album "The Reminder" like a crack fiend for a month. Favorite album of the year so far.
