Jomo Audio Impressions & Discussion Thread
Sure, I've put it off for months now (paid for) and I'm sure Joseph would just send it to me as soon as I decide. I've been enjoying other hybrids meanwhile. Thanks for the hard work in advance.- sensui123

No pressure guys.....Joseph is hanging on to my order still as I'm still struggling to decide between stainless and brass. Would love to hear more feedback from you guys before I make that decision.- sensui123

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Thanks for the feedback. I stopped running it with the amp8 after 2 tries with no volume and leave it now to run with the Solaris from Campfire instead. Good to know that it may cause damage if you keep it up....good thing iBasso's support with Paul is good. Strange issue indeed. Thanks...- sensui123

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
I read the feedback on the random noise with the Khan/cabling issues mostly with the apple adapters......and I think someone mentioned something similar to what I'm experiencing....but first thing I did with my Khans was change the cable to Leonidas II from EA with a 2.5mm balanced termination...- sensui123

Big thanks to Deezel177 and Wyville for sharing their impressions on the Trinity. I absolutely adore the Flamencos and have committed to a set of the Trinity as well. I'm just having a super difficult time deciding between stainless and brass nozzle (stressing out Joseph lol). I listen to the...- sensui123

Headamp Blue Hawaii Special Edition
I didn't think tube rolling could have that dramatic of a difference running nos xf2 oo getters Great Britain Mullards xf3/4 dd getters Amperex from Holland.... Then I changed over to nos xf1 oo getters with the large dark brown bases... It's like an entirely different amp. Super curious about...- sensui123

The Stax Thread III
I don't post much..... Been happy with xf2 oo getters Britain made and xf3/xf4 dd getters Holland made for a long time with the bhse. Just landed some nos xf1 oo's..... I had no idea the bhse could scale this much with tubes... The bass, imaging, dimensionality.... It's just a whole other...- sensui123

DNA Stellaris
Whew it's been a long hiatus for me @ head-fi. But that doesn't mean I haven't been listening. I picked up my Stellaris last July in 2017 from Donald. Always a gentleman and a genius at his craft IMO ever since I've loved and discovered his amplifiers through the Stratus. I use the Stellaris...- sensui123

So, what should I do Guys? Open it or send it back to Donald?
Owned the Stratus and now the Stellaris. I wouldn't even sweat that dent with all that heavy duty foam/packaging. Typical bad ups.- sensui123

All things Metrum Acoustics
I've been away from head fi for awhile.....was super happy (still am on the head fi side) after riding off into the sunset with some nice electrostat setups (BHSE, KGSSHV Carbon, SR-009/007 mk1) with the Pavane L1 (only level 1 back then). Recently came back into the hifi world because my dream...- sensui123

Toxic Cables - Impressions and Discussion Thread
I am deeply saddened after reading this news coming back to head-fi. I was one of Frank's biggest customers because I absolutely believed in his products and have always been spoiled rotten with all the fine cables he's personally made for me. The news devastated me because him and I have...- sensui123

I have and it was excellent. Frank's silver widow sw22 is my preference for all headphones. A work of art and brings extra clarity to the music.- sensui123

The HeadAmp GS-X and GS-X MK2 Thread
I had both the LAu and GSX mk 2 (still own the GSX mk 2) at the same time. Reason for me selling off the LAu and the Liquid Glass was to downsize....but they were really good amps IMO (albeit a bit pricey). I think Cavalli stuff has a certain sound to them.....dare I say musical/pleasing and...- sensui123

Metrum Pavane
That is cool and something I might think about.....but quite honestly I'm reluctant to send my Pavane back to Cees for the conversion....bit gunshy since my 1st Pavane came with god knows what rolling around inside (doesn't power on) and had to send back to replace. The DAC sounds so damn good...- sensui123

Toxic Cables - Impressions and Discussion Thread
Frank is someone that makes the best cable at the most fair price IMO. I've had cables throughout the years with him exclusively and only left my possession to package along with headphones for sale....I got great resale from them because everyone in the know understands the quality of his work...- sensui123

Metrum Pavane
I don't have a TT.....but I can't imagine it being that far off from a Hugo (which I own). It's not in the same league compared to the Pavane in detail, sonic staging, and musicality. Like the Metrum Hex (which I own also), the Pavane takes the characteristic of presenting music...- sensui123

Headamp Blue Hawaii Special Edition
It's a pretty tough choice really....I think the BHSE does very well with either the 007 or the 009....I can't really pick a favorite since it depends on what I'm listening to......the Carbon clearly does the 009 better almost in everyway compared to the 007 though. Thanks again Justin for the...- sensui123

Headamp Blue Hawaii Special Edition
I definitely like the 007 out of the BHSE better than the Carbon. The soundstage just becomes holographic and expansive.....that's the first thing you notice. Then comes the juicy details and the musicality that the 007 is capable of. Can't wait to try the infamous metal base Phillips EL34...- sensui123
