That sounds great then! Is there any chance of water getting in there and damaging them if you are out in the rain? Not a problem with the sealed CIEMs.

Anything is possible, but the damper would prevent water from entering the house, to a degree. Placing them in a washer machine would kill them... no doubt about that.

Hard to say as every ear is different. The dynamic driver is 10mm

I have all the noble flagships. This is something else.

Just a few questions about the tuning, I am guessing the bass quantity is a bit less than the K10 from earlier impressions but does it still have the insane slam they have? Also is the treble still super smooth as that is one of my favourite aspects of the K10, I feel I would like it just a tad clearer though.

@Rowethren maybe my ears are way off, but K10 never had anything close to “insane slam” for me. Sure they had enhanced bass, but I’m hoping the DD in the Khan eclipses the K10 with the amount of air it can move. I guess we will find out in March

I knew it was only a matter of time before this came up.

In terms of comfort, very comfortable, relatively deep insertion despite the wide bore.

Vs the fourte, well, they’re different. The fourte is meatier, richer, the Khan is leaner and quicker, snappier. The Khan has more precise imaging, and a huge stage, the fourte imaging is a little less pinpoint though still very precise, though the sense of expansion of the space remains very much unbeatable. Both are highly resolving and transparent.

Thank you for your thoughts on the sound. I think I am going to take the plunge. I am not crazy about the cover but maybe they look better in person. We will see. Tks.

No you are right, it isn't really slamming or hard hitting bass but there is certainly a fair amount of it lol. Perhaps a tad too much at times which is why the Khan's seem so interesting to me. The credit card is calling to me!
