MS-2 (MS-2i) appreciation thread
Its a shame that Grado has gone downhill over the years in terms of quality control. Seeing the photos of how the headphones were kept made me quiver, their storage is causing alot of the cable issues. My MS2i (bought when they just came out) is perfect except form some loose threads on the...- practitioner

Got some news about Corda Cantate
yes, there were only 500 Aria made on the first run. It was the first amp that Jan Meier took the risk of outsourcing the design to Shangling for manufacturing. I guess the risk payed off and Aria was a success (I'am still loving mine, but counting the pennies towards the Opera) so its still...- practitioner

Highly Recommend Solid state amp for Grado?
Have a look at the meier amps, the Aria lets me listen to my MS2i for hours on end without listening fatigue - something that I really appreciate. Prior to the Aria, the MS2i sound just got too much for the ears after half hour listening. Oh yeah.. the toe tapping/head banging still happens...- practitioner

Alessandro delivery time to UK?
two years back, my MS2i took around 8/9 days to turn up from Alessandro. I had to pay around £15 in fees if I remember correctly. But the headphones were declared as MS1 so I paid fees for a value of $99 rather than $299.- practitioner

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
2 years on, I still love my HD650 setup, hardly read the headphones forum anymore as no other cans interest me (except for the HD700 talk) it's the amp/source upgrades that are bugging me especially knowing how well the HD650 scales up with equipment!- practitioner

Wouldn't it be great if Xin made a non-portable (home) solid-state headphone amp?
I once asked Xin about making a home amp with multiple opamps with a front selector switch, in other words eq by opamps - I thought that would be real cool. He turned it down saying he wants to perfect his portable listening...- practitioner
