Amp for Polk Monitor70 II
I'm using the HDP as a Pre-Amp, not a Power Amp. -
Amp for Polk Monitor70 II
Yeah, I just ended up hooking an HDP up to it. Made life a little easier for switching between inputs. -
Amp for Polk Monitor70 II
Budget - Less than 500 Setup - Generic living room setup. Probably like... 40% music, 40% movies, 20% games. Rating - 100w per channel at 8 ohms I believe (speakers at 8 ohms) Source - I'm actually looking at having it fed by a DAC at the moment, but would be open to an all in one... -
Amp for Polk Monitor70 II
Hey guys, I just bought a pair of Polk Monitor70 II and my current amp that was running a pair of Realistic Mach2 is clearly under powering the speakers. The volume and quality is very noticeable when there is bass in the music vs just treble. They say they're 275w speakers, and honestly...- catchedge

Ultrasone Pro900 Tips
Hey guys, I've been wanting to get into making cables, and since I have a pair of Ultrasone Pro900s laying around with easy to swap cables, I figured I might as well start there. However, I can't seem to find a supplier with the threaded tips that the cans take. You can kind of see it...- catchedge

Amp recommendations for Audeze LCD-2
If price isn't a large issue, the Lyr and the Bifrost with the LCD-2 is the best combination I've ever heard. Otherwise I've also heard it with the NuForce HDP and I really enjoyed it as well.- catchedge

What was the largest amount of computer information you deleted by accident?
I had some really weird thing where I lost permission to all the video, music, and .doc files on my computer, even when I used the Administrator account to go in and edit the permissions. It showed that I had access, yet wouldn't let me access them. So I had to reformat both my internal and...- catchedge

Comparing D2000 to DT770/80 - need help PLEASE!
I have a pair of Recabled Denon D2000's. I will give you some of my opinions. Bass is sometimes a little sloppy, but there is a large amounts of it for bassheads. I typically listen to trance, electronica, rock, jazz, and alternative. I won't say that these headphones are a perfect all...- catchedge

Recommend a newbie some new closed-cans!
Quote: I can't really speak to the D5000, but I've own the D2000 and have A/B'd with the D7000. Both are great products. I noticed a lot more detail obviously with the D7000, and if I remember right, the D2000 and the D5000 share the same driver, which should make them sound...- catchedge
