Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80-Ohm Thread
Quick question...did Beyerdynamic change the name of these from Pro to Studio? --> Guitar Center I'm looking to buy a pair of the Pro 80 (w/warranty if possible), and came across these 770 Studio (80 phm), but there is no mention of this model anywhere online or on BD's website.- AN0INTD

1964 Ears
...Great in-ears and the team at 1964 are all VERY nice to speak with, and patient to answer questions and requests. Highly recommended, for sure. *I did however find one visible flaw from the factory. Underneath the logo of the LEFT monitor, there are "scratches" or long "cracks" that...- AN0INTD

My 1964ears custom's high sensitivity is allowing hiss ....help :(
OK, thx Rawrster! I hadn't even noticed that he mentions an attenuator. I'll try to dig up a small project to put together here on HF....I'm sure some thread deals with attenuators.- AN0INTD

My 1964ears custom's high sensitivity is allowing hiss ....help :(
Hi guys, by any chance is there a way to reduce (or entirely eliminate) hiss from my headphone amp when using my customs? My inears have an impedance of 25ohms and sensitivity of 118dB, so they are fairly efficient and extremely sensitive. Would using an impedance adapter work or is there some...- AN0INTD

1964 Ears
I wouldn't feel too bad. It's probably more a frequent occurrence than you might think :) I actually called and caught them literally moments before they started making the shells for mine and gave my NEW specifics to the extremely kind and patient gentleman helping me on the other end of the...- AN0INTD

Are the Audio Technica RE70 (ATH-RE70) any good?
Who cares, right? Talkin' pennies here for bottom of the barrel cans. I'll be back when I decide to get something worthwhile and truly in need of guidance. I'm getting the RE70s- AN0INTD

Are the Audio Technica RE70 (ATH-RE70) any good?
Hi guys, Normally I am a search and google hound, but these headphones don't seem to have many reviews up :/ I'm looking to buy a good set of "portable" headphones for office use...portable size because I don't want a huge headphone on my head nor do I want to completely isolate myself from...- AN0INTD

Philips SHE3580 IEM review--how can something sound so good for $10???
Quote: LOL Just to be clear (in case Joker sees this) the 3580's in no way hold a candle to the CK10 in SQ and build, but for what I am using them at the moment, the 3580s are a much better fit. The CK10 has decent weight and impact down to ~20Hz, but then drops pretty quickly from...- AN0INTD

Philips SHE3580 IEM review--how can something sound so good for $10???
I just wanted to give the OP a big thumbs up for starting this thread. I got a pair of the 3581 (white/gray) last week after reading this thread and love em to death! To keep the peace at home, I got my wife a purple/teal pair Although they do take very well to EQ, like to use them as IEMs at...- AN0INTD

Where can I source an IEM part?
Hi guys, does anyone know where I can find the jack that is connected to the actual monitors? Specifically, the part that makes a monitor cable-replaceable. I've searched but have come up empty. Thanks in advance!- AN0INTD

Carvin IEM ??
They look like OSP monitors (probably are re-branded)....not bad and the price is decent for a new pair. The OSP (IIRC) were comparable to the Shure E2c in quality of sound. The build quality isn't bad either and I think is worth Carvin's price. They generally offers good quality stuff for the...- AN0INTD

Any way to revive pair of Audio Technica CK10s or is it over?
RSXBOI...you are in good luck! The CK10s have a two year warranty instead of one year. Just give them a call and they will fix them under warranty....assuming you have proof of purchase from a licensed dealer.- AN0INTD

Any way to revive pair of Audio Technica CK10s or is it over?
They do repairs outside of warranty. Please, check the forum search engine as I do not remember the number. The charge was like $80 a driver...not bad considering the price of a new pair. Chances are they would probably just send you a new pair for the price of repair. Let me know if you can't...- AN0INTD

Audio Technica ATH-CK10
Quote: Meh...to each his own; I don't think it's a fair trade. The RE0s have really nice treble extension and actually dig deeper in the lows than the CK10s, but they did not have as musical a presentation as the CK10s....they just sounded flat for me - even amped (in their defense, I...- AN0INTD

The Official Rockbox for Android Registry
After a few days, I can say that it works very well on the Moto Defy but not without some very small glitches. It has locked up on me when I received an incoming call and a few times when I changed playlists mid song. No biggie absolutely loving it. Thanks! (to the dev team)- AN0INTD

My ATH-CK10 broke! Questions about warranty service and I could use suggestions for a new pair!
Thought I would chime in since I, unfortunately, am experiencing issues with my CK10 and haven't found any straight forward info on AT's repair service. The right-side lowend armature is slight buzzing on certain low-mid frequencies, which in the 1yr of ownership it never has had before (bought...- AN0INTD

PL-50 Foam tips
A fair warning....if you get the Olives, be prepared to stretch the core quite a bit to get them to fit since (needle nosed pliers or something). And once they are on, consider them as permanently fixed to the nozzle - if you try to remove them, most likely the olive will be ripped from the...- AN0INTD

Radiohead fan looking for new IEMs
I've owned the RE0s, CK10, and SoundMagic PL50. I am a huge fan of Radiohead's music and would suggest the RE0s if you have a good portable amp already or can get one for a really good price otherwise the CK10s would be cheaper and better for their music. Without a good amp, CK10 have a wider...- AN0INTD
