[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread
Is it just me or do the UE6000s sound really quiet and muffled out of the box (unamped)? I've been using mine at max volume with both my phone and computer, and it's rather underwhelming. Will burning in help with this?- graniteX

Om audio inearpeace - has anyone tried these?
How do you think the OM Audio Inearpeace fare against the favorites in the same price bracket, like: GR07, RE-400, TF-10, BA200, Dunu DN-1000?- graniteX

Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!
Well what I meant is that buying a used D2K (~$300) and sending it to Lawton myself (~$200) would = the cost of a used D5K. Mainly going to be used for watching movies. My music taste is very broad and eclectic, so whichever is more versatile wins. Although I must say, I have a strong...- graniteX

Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!
Which would be more worth the cost (about the same price total): 1) D2000 (w/ Lawton mod + Angle pads) or 2) D5000 (unmodded, original pads) (fyi--I'm still having trouble finding a near-mint condition pair of D2000s for a reasonable price. If anyone knows someone or...- graniteX

Need help choosing good all round IEM's
I searched, but couldn't exactly find a good comparison. How do the DN-1000s fare against the slightly cheaper GR07 MKIIs? Are they worth the extra money?- graniteX

Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!
Sigh, well, tbh, i have no idea where to buy a D2K right now (at a decent price). I just lost to some stupid ebay sniper who outbid me with like 2 seconds left on a used pair. :( Any ideas as to where else I can get one? Thanks.- graniteX

TDK BA200 Thread
Is there a reason why the BA200 are suddenly so cheap? And suddenly available at Ross stores everywhere? Did TDK release a new IEM or something? Because I've been debating between the BA200, GR07 MK2, SE215, Westone 3, etc.... and I noticed that the BA200 are only $100 on Amazon...- graniteX

NVX XPT100 vs Takstar Pro 80
Thanks! That's nice to hear about the XPT. Hmm, though, I don't currently have an amp. And if I do spend the money on an amp and DAC in addition to the XBT (could pile up to $150 or more), I'm thinking that I might as well buy higher-budget cans for a similar price (e.g. DT-770, HP-100...- graniteX

NVX XPT100 vs Takstar Pro 80
Hey thanks for the reply (and for all the great PM answers)! Yeah, it seems that people have been commenting on the HMF5 (and XPT100)'s lack of bass. (Which wouldn't be the optimal for movie-watching.)- graniteX

NVX XPT100 vs Takstar Pro 80
Hi, I'm looking for <$100 headphones primarily to watch movies (in an apartment where I can isolate sound). I'm debating between the NVX XPT100 and the Takstar Pro 80s. Which would you recommend? Obviously my 3 main criteria are: 1) Isolation (noisy neighbors/roommates can ruin a...- graniteX

thanks. the one thing that keeps me from getting the RHA is that I've used one of their cheaper models, and it broke within about a month. I guess the 750s do have thicker cables, though- graniteX

...on sale for 2 more hours, but it seems that some folks find them to be accurate but not-fun-sounding, relatively speaking. In a nutshell, *ideally*, the earphones will have the durability of the SE215s and the (alleged) versatile sound quality of the GR07 MKIIs. Comfort/fit is very...- graniteX
