The headphones need to be good for all genres but the main genres are metal and dubstep, so needs to be great with bass. I'm looking for over the ear and closed headphones however that doesn't matter that much.
Only wanting to spend $750 or less. the BEST headphones $750 can buy !

I'm also looking for a dac , so any suggestions and only wanting to spend $350 or less on the dac .

okay i have been looking at some reviews and i have heard a lot about the he 500, what is the difference with the he 500 are the he 400 more for bass ?

and im totally lost on what amp/dac i should go for. but i guess ill wait till i know what headphones im going to buy

He400 is more lively and v shaped with more treble and bass than he500. In technicalities they are comparable. He400 has the cleanest bass, yet he500 is a little cleaner in the mids and treble. I think the he400 suits your genres best.
Th600 is a totally different beast I'd suppose.
