I am new to the forum and hope you guys can give me advice on which IEM's to buy.
 
What I found so far:
The Shure SE535 was the first IEM I considered. After reading some reviews I think this might not be the best choice, since Shure supposedly is known for their good mids but less for their lows. I read that the SE535 does have better highs and lows than the SE425, but it is still no pounding bass. I also considered the lower priced Fischer Audio DBA-02 mkII, but those also supposedly lack in sub-bass. I don't really know where to look for the IEM's that best suit my needs.
 
Equipment I own:
Sennheiser CX 400 II, iPhone 3GS, Creative Zen X-Fi Style, Pioneer HDJ1000.
 
What I am looking for:
I am looking for a good all round IEM. I intend to use them for recreational listening, not analytical purposes. I listen to a wide variety of musical genres. I listen a lot to Deep House and Techno, so good strong bases and kicks are important to me. However, I also listen to Rock, Metal, Hip-Hop, Pop, DnB, Dubstep, Reggae etc. There isn't really any genre I dislike, I just listen to what I like in each of them. So even though strong lows are important to me, mids and highs should also be of decent quality. I mostly listen to 320 kbps mp3's. I plan on mostly using my iPhone with Spotify (Extreme quality or offline is 320 kbps), but might also use the Creative MP3 player. The Sennheiser CX 400 II are not satisfactory to me. I want a lot better sounding set of IEM's. The Pioneer headphones sound a lot better, but are too bulky for on the road. I would like some IEMs that at least match the sound quality of the Pioneer HP's, but rather even beat those. I am not looking to go overboard and for example also invest in a portable amp.

I recomend you do some reading up on these two IEM's which are hybrids. What this means is they use a dynamic driver for the lows and dual balanced armature for mids/highs. In theory they will give you good sub-bass while keeping a clear  detailed and refined mid and high range. I have tried many hybrids since my time here and one in -particular really stand out. Which I rate higher than the likes of Westone 4, Westone 3, Shure SE535 and other IEM's higher in price.

That would be the Dunu DN-1000, the best purchase I made in 2013 with a price of around $200.

Thanks a lot. I already found the 307 IEM list, but the problem with that list is that is is just to big. I'll check out the reviews of the IEMs you recommended.

I searched, but couldn't exactly find a good comparison. How do the DN-1000s fare against the slightly cheaper GR07 MKIIs? Are they worth the extra money?

I've written about this briefly. Most of us consider the GR07 MK2 to not even be In the same ball park as the newer Dunu hybrid.

I've owned GR07 twice, you've made the right choice. The Dunu is a much cleaner, clearer er listen with better staging and seperation.

IF it sounds anything like Dunu DN-1000 in my ears right now with Xuelin IHIFI 760, yes. Considering no-one possibly besides Rocky from Dunu has heard Dunu DN-2000, kind of makes your question hard to answer.
