Are CDs still a worthy investment?
I used to buy CDs, now I exclusively buy all my music from iTunes. I just do not have the space to store 100s of CDs. Also with iTunes in the Cloud, I can download my music to my iPhone, iPad, and iMac when I want and where I want. Buying digital also helps the environment in small ways.- DDRNemesis

Monster Miles Davis Tribute thread
Well I called Monster and they are going to be sending me a 4th pair of Miles Davis because of the static problem. The rep told me they don't usually get calls about the Miles Davis line. The static I incur is when walking outside wearing my winter coat and putting my ipod in my coat pocket...- DDRNemesis

Monster Miles Davis Tribute thread
I think the Miles Davis line has a lot of manufacturing defect. I just got my third replacement pair and the left ear piece has constant static discharge when I walk outside. The quality control on these things is just atrocious.- DDRNemesis

Monster Miles Davis Tribute thread
Well I got my replacement MDs last week and they are already broken. The housing has split into two. Apparently the glue they used isn't very strong. This is my third pair, I think I might just request a refund and get a pair of customs. I love the warranty but it shouldn't be an excuse for...- DDRNemesis

Monster Turbine Pro Gold Turbine durability problems
Same thing happened to my Coppers, it's just a poor design choice and implementation. Just keep taking advantage of Monster's warranty, as far as I can tell I don't know anyone who has used their one lifetime replacement because the headphones break themselves before anyone has the chance to...- DDRNemesis

Monster Miles Davis Tribute thread
Well I'm having problems with my MDs. The cord near the strain relief on the plug is damaged. The left earbud produces sound that goes in and out. It's most noticeable on lower powered device like my Droid Incredible, the Cowon S9 doesn't lose sound but there are volume differences. This is the...- DDRNemesis

There is a slide out shelve above the sub that comes out about 2 feet. I just type from a far distance but it is comfortable cause I have pretty long arms.- DDRNemesis

DAC for PC Toslink out to Audioengine 5 Active Speakers
I really like my Maverick D1. It has so many inputs that you just plug everything in at once and leave it. It sounds great, I got the upgraded tube and I use the tube pre-amp. It is perfect for the price and really makes my BX5a Deluxe plus SBX10 shine. Highly recommended.- DDRNemesis

Monster Turbine Professional – Copper Review - With Burnin Discussion and tips
I personally don't find there to be a very big difference between the MDs and the Coppers except the MDs do have just a tad more bass to my ears. I actually just sold my Coppers because I prefer the MDs more in looks. Just purchased some Re-0s because I need a phone to exercise in and those seem...- DDRNemesis

Monster Turbine Professional – Copper Review - With Burnin Discussion and tips
When I did the open box with my MDs I had some troubles. My MDs were defective and when I contacted Monster to replace them, Monster told me they couldn't because they were open box. I contacted OneCall and Onecall replaced the MDs with a brand new set because of the troubles. They told me...- DDRNemesis

I personally like the way the Coppers and Miles Davis look. They actually look like someone took time and effort into the way they they look. Most other IEMs just look like cheap plastic toys in comparison.- DDRNemesis

You have to take into account also: The warranty the Coppers come with, all the tips they come with, and then all the other little extras. No other earphone comes with as much accessories as the Coppers.- DDRNemesis

Monster Turbine Professional – Copper Review - With Burnin Discussion and tips
Got my replacement pair of coppers today, Monster definitely upgraded the cord as it isn't as stiff and rubbery as my last one. Going to burn them in using music cause I already have a nice midcentric phone with the MDs.- DDRNemesis

HeadRoom BitHead or Nuforce uDac
I use the total bithead and find it to be very nice for PC use, which is all I use it for. It can run either USB powered or battery powered out of a computer. The battery power will cut down on a random pop here and there but otherwise I just use the USB power and my pc hasn't had any...- DDRNemesis

For people who have returned these headphones to Monster for defects, did they send a brand new retail package back to you? And did you send everything the Coppers came with (eartips, cases, box) to Monster?- DDRNemesis

PX200-II good for metal/rock? Yes! Now with 25% more review!
I feel the only negative of the PX200 IIs is the inline volume control. It was just never useful and weighed down the headphones.- DDRNemesis

What's the shape of your head? Bass, Treble, or V-shaped?
I like my Coppers and Miles Davis, I would like to try other headphones but I like what they give me at the moment. If liking the sound of these headphones makes me a basshead, well so be it. basshead +1- DDRNemesis
