I prefer my OTL amp to the Topping A90D when using the HEDDphone. There is no output impedance issues when using the OTL amp so the headphone sound is altered only by the tubes used.

dekoni stellia seem to be overall the best I've tried. Very soft leather feel, adds to low end and fixes some of the 'muffled' midrange.

It's a lot warmer than I initially thought, a strong bass prescence and upper midrange is brought down. I don't like using it in my preamp when connected to a tube amp (too warm) and due to my gardening hobby lately I haven't tried other opamps yet. That will change.

I believe the crossfeed is for the headphone out only, not when using the unit strictly as a DAC. The 1421 should be slightly better than 1321, like the 2541 edges out the 1541.

FYI, Australia's retail supplier, AddictedToAudio, are listing the deluxe edition of the Voyager as having the V7 opamps. So looks like you are right. Hopefully they are an improvement on the V6 as I have moved on from them in my preamp (Orange brand opamps for now!)

Correct me if wrong but don't most dynamic headphones have a bit of bass roll off? Sennheiser HD800S, Beyerdynamic DT880, even the Focal Clear rolls off in the sub-bass... (edit - Final Audio D8K Pro, a $5K planar headphone...) Granted the HEDD 2 is AMT but especially when chasing the speaker...
