Burson Soloist 3X Grand Tourer Head Amp/Pre Amp w/Sub out - 10W XLR

Whelp. I guess I'm officially a Burson fan boy now. Just traded in my OG Soloist GT for 2023 Soloist GT and ordered every opamp mentioned in thread so far (SIL 994, V6 Classic, and Sparkos 2590's). The Soloist paired with the Burson Timekeepers GT has been my go too setup, and that was using original V6 vivids that originally came with the unit. I'm excited to see how much improved the experience will be with op amp rolling and the new sp modules to boot. Soundnews is too blame, I was looking at the Holo Audio Bliss and then stumbled across his updated review, and was sold.
I have both and as much as the Soloist is a cracker with upgraded opamps and sp2, the Bliss is still a way more refined amp.

They’re both excellent, but the Bliss just does everything better

Thats interesting do you have the soloist or the conductor as indicated in your signature. I was told the conductor was not compatible with the SP 2 power module.

BTW, Burson retracted the offer to send me an invoice for the SP-02 modules and told me to wait for them to load it onto their web shop. This was a week ago. I've literally been checking everyday. I have $300 burning a hole in my pocket.

I have checked through the blog most discussions center around Sparkos, SIL 994, etc. Has anyone tried these (Weiss OP2-BP) in the new Soloist GT

I have a whole list of these old school opamps to test with DIP8 converters.. this looks to be one of those.

Let the buyer's remorse begin, and I haven't even received the new unit yet. The main contributor to the decision was Bloom Audio's buy back program, and the synergy between the Burson Soloist and the Timekeeper GT. I was really looking closely at the Bliss though, so I might just have to follow your lead and get both. LOL

I was thinking the same thing once he said he had the 2023 model and Holo jealousy. I’m still waiting for my dealer to get the updated version with the SP2 power modules Wait time is murderous.

Is it ok to run my GT with V6's in the vol control buffer stage and the small IC op-amps in the input buffer stage and voltage gain stage? I had to send four V6's back to Burson for warranty exchange to get new ones. I would ask Burson but they have been so slow to answer emails. Does anyone have their phone number? Not listed on their site.

Anyone have the 2023 Soloist 3X GT with SP 2 on order? I'm not getting straight answers from the dealer and no target date. I tried contacting Burson directly but received zero response. Kind of wished I went in a different direction
