I just got it to work for me. Took a few tries, but I got it for 70+ shipping. I just got the order confirmation email.   I have the super.fi.3 studio's hopefully these are a nice upgrade. I wish it had the replaceable cables like the studio's, i'm on my second set of cables now.

On my ipod, I only turn them half way, they get plenty loud. They hardly isolate. Just normal level conversation can be heard, and interferes with music.

Try putting the headphones around your leg, that shoud simulate being around your head.

I find that if I listen to pink noise for about 30 sec to a min, the ringing goes away instantly. It's like an instant cure for me.

I saw some e3g's today. E2c's are pretty common around here. I've seen a couple of px100's.

Try the super.fi's, you can always return them. I dont see what the issue with size is. The se110's arn't much better than the ibuds, and the 210's arn't much better than the 110's.

I find the super.fi 3's bass response to be very good without making the other frequencies sound muddy. I would hardly say the super.fi 3 is bass shy.

skull candy is worse than anything else out there.

Neither of the ones you posted are earbuds. I think the yuin pk2 are highly rated. For iem's under 100, I recommend the er6i's or super.fi 3's Skull candy and v-moda (what model?) arn't worth the price.

I wouldn't describe the 210's as clean sounding, but they are warm. Also their bass is a bit bloated, clouding the details. Try one of the super.fi's. The vocals and guitar sound cleaner and crisper than any of the shures i've listened to. I dont know about the um1.
