yeah, try out the er6 dual flanges. i use them exclusively on my er6i's. i hate the triple flange.

yeah, i wore my er6i's on a long distance plane ride. half way through after listening to the movie it almost hurt after i took them out, so loud!

i thought it might be due to a magnetic field. since you are walking with a long conductor, the magnetic field induces a current, hence the ringing.

How much difference is there amoungst sound cards in regard to their optical outs? I am currently using a audigy2 zs for my music (as I game quite a bit). But, I was thinking about getting a DAC-AH and wasn't sure if the soundstorm would sound okay with it. I don't have a lot of cash right...

I have seen: MS1, sr-60's, lots of hd212pro/457/497, a couple hd555, some er6i's, and some porta pro's. I get the weirdest looks sometimes with 325i's.

hey. when I got my sr80's a ways back they were shipped ups. worst idea ever. they use their own customs brokers and they charge 40 bucks for the brokerage fee. never use ups. jmt shipped me an amp via usps, only 5 bucks for brokerage. on another note, my sr325i's i got locally for 350...
