For me is the "good for games" part that interest me in the 490, the ndh30 is not better than the 560S for games on my experience.

I noticed this on the btr7 too, but upon further inspection, its more like a bit of eventual creaking from the metal/plastic part.

I think the problem is the Topping DX1 I am using, I found another report online about the usb cable being the problem. I also tried my btr7 wirelessly with no problems.

Do any of you noticed any random pops on the driver during playback sometimes?

The gsx do sound a tiny bit more to the left when using 7.1 virtualization, on stereo is normal.

Anyone know if the foam inside the eartip itself is part of the tuning? Is it ok to change tips on this one? The question aplied to any other sennheiser in-ear too.

The Sennheiser PC38X if you can find one, also the Epos H6PRO, which is probably the same as the GSP500. Oh, you mean wireless. Theres a wireless version of the Epos H3PRO, but I dont know if its any good.

Its an heresy posting this here, but last time I used a Pulse3D from Sony, I thought the headphone was off and the speakers were still on. Sound quality is pretty average though...

Sennheiser in the latest releases of headphones has being doing a great job not disturbing too much of our hearing.

Anyone using the limiter? Whats it good for? The manual say it limits the maximum volume when in reality just makes the hp hard to drive I think. Did not find pics from inside anywhere, so I'll leave this here:

I guess the angled driver contributes a lot. When I first listened to the 660S and 560S side by side it was clear to me that the 560 was almost 3D in comparison.

Or maybe my 560S is special... :P

The HD560S does that holographic thing too, at least for me its very apparent. My 660S only sound good on a bassier source, and on a completely silent room, and its like that, you feel its a bit flat at first, them you relax and get used to it.

I heard the test on the review, the mdr-7506 is a lot brighter, the MV1 at least on the demo, is much more neutral and also, has bass. Not like someone said earlier, yes, does not make sense... Subscribed, again...

I had a hard time deciding between the 560S and the GSP500 for gaming, the GSP500 is too good, I eventually kept the 560S, but was based only on comfort.

I have a question in regard of "internally balanced" cable of the NDH30. Neumann does not have any true balanced cable, right? I mean, if I want to use the 2.5 balanced output of a BTR5 for example, I'll have to rely exclusively on third party cables right? Adapters on this case would screw...
