Currently listening on the Hifiman HE560 v1s throught the GS-X Mini with the Gustard R26 decoding all the bits and pieces fromy Wiim Mini.
On deck in my queue for tonight's sesh is a 2008 album by Frost*, Experiments in Mass Appeal. This is a solid album whether you want to call it rock, prog, neo-prog, or whatever. To me it's just very well written, executed on a high level by the musicians, and, surprisingly, also recorded and mastered pretty well, to boot. I'm not normally a huge lyrics guy as I tend to focus on the music, but this album, and Frost's work in general, tends to do a great job incorporating some pretty deep and well developed lyrical themes that are used to tie the individual tracks together into a cohesive and coherent whole.

RökFlöte by Jethro Tull - First playthrough of their new release (today) and like their previous album is a little softer than their earlier work, which probably works better for Ian Anderson, he is 75 after all. It can still rock when it needs to though, no worries there, as evidenced by Ithavoll, the final track. The album is themed on Norse paganism and as given away by the title, makes the most of the rock (as in music) flute. I'm just finishing my first playthrough now and must admit I have enjoyed it quite a bit and for an album at this stage of a band's lifetime that's pretty good going.
My Grado SR325x got the nod tonight, I'm just in love with their energy and attack

Ugh, yeah … sure …I'm switching back and forth between my two newest headphones on my two newest sources : Abyss Diana TC and DCA Aeon 2 Noire on RME ADI-2 DAC FS & Hiby R6 gen III DAP. After 20+ years in this hobby I finally feel like I can stop buying new gear.

Qobuz > Chord Mojo2 > HiFiman Arya Stealth w/Forza AudioWorks Claire HPC Mk2 UPOCC Copper Cable
Surprisingly the Mojo2 pairs excellently with the Arya Stealth. I add a bass shelf and take away a little of the sizzle and it sounds glorious. The Mojo2 has these cans almost jumping off my head the bass is kicking so hard.

I love the XLR coupling that's bigger than the Mojo. Now that's an adapter!

I don’t want to buy 50 cables just for terminations. It is hilarious though, on top of that I also have a 6.3 to 3.5 adapterI love the XLR coupling that's bigger than the Mojo. Now that's an adapter!

Don't get me wrong, I have the same stable of oversized adapters for every imaginable termination and I think it's just as funny when I run into a look like this with my gear. ,
Qobuz -> Gustard R26 -> Cayin iHA-6 -> Focal Clear Pro (OG)
Just received my brand new pair of ZMF Focal+ Sub Pads (Suede, perforated) and had to give them a listen. They come much closer to the stock pads than any of the Dekoni variations I tried. Aaand finally dark pads for my dark Clear.
