I get that, but why? It seems like a great product at a great price point. The only reason I see to discontinue is lack of profit at the $150 price point.

I hate taking my W30 to the gym, especially since I almost lost them twice. The W30 drivers are $400 MSRP ($200-250 replacement price used). The Westone v1 bluetooth cable is an additional $100 and the v2 cable is $150. Then I found the Westone Wx is $150 (on sale for $99.99 in some places...

Wow, lots of votes for the Sansa Clip.. I owned the Sandisk Sansa 4gb and 8gb models and I thought it sounds terrible (without any additional amplification; plugging in Westone UM2 directly). I switched to a Samsung T9 and I think that sounds A LOT better unamped.

The Westone 3s are just not coming any time soon
