Toronto Meet - Sunday March 6th
That party room was pretty good for the number of people that were there. The room was big and could have fit a lot more, but there weren't that many tables. Every 3 or 4 months sounds like a good frequency to hold a meet. I showed up with nothing, well some beers and my wife (I guess she...- Fishing

Toronto Meet - Sunday March 6th
Quote: How do the M50's comapre to the Shure 840s? Those are on sale at Futureshop right now for $129.99 down from $199.99. Sorry if I'm going off topic, but I thought some people might want to know about the sale cause I've heard good things about them and I think they're around...- Fishing

Toronto Meet - Sunday March 6th
Nice meeting all of you today. Thanks to FallenAngel for hosting the meet. My first one and it was good. I had to take off early so I didn't get to listen to everything, but the meet helped me reinforce my decision to purchase some HD650's. The hard part is finding a good deal on a used...- Fishing

Toronto Meet - Sunday March 6th
I'd like to drop by with my wife. My A900's just died so I don't have anything to offer audio-wise (not that the A900's were anything special), but I plan on bringing some beers for people and I should have some spare power bars that I can bring too for those who do have equipment. Looking to...- Fishing

HD-570's compared to newer Sennheisers?
I'm not a big fan of the 570s. They were my first "good" headphone so when I first put them on and listened, they were great. Plus they were ultra comfortable. However, if you start listening to other high quality headphones (doesn't have to cost more $$ Grado SR-60 is good enough) you'd see...- Fishing

AMP for a Newbie
Btw Zemo, I'm not 100% sure, but I'm fairly sure that the Go-Vibe destroys the Cmoy. Just my opinion.- Fishing

Help me spend 5.000 Euro !
It looks like you won 5.0 Euros. As in just 5 Euros. I was thinking maybe you could get some dollar store buds with that I'm assuming you mean five thousand. Maybe 5,000 would be better. Or 5000.- Fishing

Replace HD 600's with which Closed Can?
I think the general buzz around here is that you go with the hd25-1 if you need a closed portable can. If you don't need to be portable, you can do a lot better than the hd25-1.- Fishing

HD570s vs. HD580s vs. ? (/w a cMoy)
Hell yeah, the 580's are worth $80 more. The 570's aren't too good. I've had them and ditched them. Not much bass and the highs are kind of shrill IMHO. I wouldn't bother with the 570's if I were you. I dunno if a CMOY/Go-Vibe type amp would power the 580's very well though. Maybe someone...- Fishing

Sik Din source in Canada?
Yeah, I've been trying for a while now. No one is selling a Sik Din in these forums. I might have to eventually shell out for one from the US. It'll be ugly. Around 36 with shipping + more for customs.- Fishing
