What was your first headphone purchase after coming to Head-Fi?

It was the Sennheiser HD497's, but I returned those and got the Sony MDR-V6's that I really wanted. Six months later I got my Beyers. I have also purchased the Sennheiser MX500 earbuds and Sennheiser PMX60 "streetstyle" headphones (burn-in is taming the highs and bringing out the bass in these things) since being here.

Before I came here I was using RadioShack Pro-35's.

Day before coming to head-fi, I bought some Sennheiser HD280's.

About a year after I was here, I finally purchased some Grado SR-60's....sold them a month later......bought HD600's same day I sold Grado's.

Bought some HD600's a couple months after I started lurking - had just barely started to post. What a money-hungry first purchase, eh?

It was either the Sennheiser HD580 or the Grado SR125... both were at a similar time...

I remember why I wanted to get headphones, I enrolled in a part time course for music producing, and it turns out that I needed headphones. So, naturally it came down to a few choices. But after the coursed ended, I found my self enjoying the sound of headphones thus the forum. I go with D66 for many reasons, beating Grado R60's which I have cast my eyes on and even booked a one from a local store.

Got a cheap Philips HP170.

Also ordered a Alessandro MS1 but it looks like it's taking weeks or even months for it to ship here instead of 2-3 days as stated in their website.
